W series PDC

Description
Patent No.: ZL200620016041.0
In this series, the table of the PCD layer is a structure with a curved row of teeth. This curved tooth row structure of the table at the PCD layer becomes the working spot in rock drilling, and a row of “teeth” in this structure becomes the cutting edge. As a result, the rock-cutting capacity and efficiency of this structure is better than those of a toothless planar PDC structure. Obviously, drill bits made of such cutter can significantly improve the rock-crushing efficiency of the drilling teeth. The advantage of this external structure is particularly obvious in the case of a slippery stratum.
In the PDC , the cross-section of external tooth can be a triangle, trapezoid, rectangle, circular arc, or a waveform. The height and the density of the teeth can be designed in accordance with the different drilling depth requirements.
